Friend!

Well, I had lots of nice pictures to show you. But Human # 1 is not very good with cameras and accidentally deleted them all.
So here's me being sad that I don't have nice pictures for you.
Also, Human #1 left me all alone today. I was so scared! I thought she would never ever ever come back. And then I don't know what I would do. I held on to myself though. I had water. I got to eat in the morning. I had at least 6 hours before I had to break out and go back to running on the streets. There was a chance, and I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. Just this once.
So, after reassuring myself that my new toy was available in case I needed it, I proceeded to take a nap.
Then a new friend came to the door! It was so exciting! He petted me and made sure I had water and told my that my human would be back later and took me for a walk! I love walks! He took me for a really long walk. I told him he was very nice and that he should go on more walks with me. He didn't get bored or anything. Well, eventually. But not for a very long time. What a great new friend. I love meeting friends.
Of course, then I got left alone again. This time, I was sure that my human must have gotten shipwrecked. Or struck by lightning.
And then, Human # 1 came home!!!! I was so excited that I jumped a meter into the air, I just couldn't help myself. I wasn't sure what my human wanted to do. So I jumped between the couch and the floor and ran around her, to make sure I was ready for whatever her plans were. She promised to always come back to me. So I let her rub my belly as assurance that I believed her. And then I had her rub my belly some more. And some more.
I don't know if the best part of the day was the new friend or my human coming home. They're both pretty great. I think I should meet more new friends and go on more walks.

P.S. Here's an Extra Bonus Picture of me getting ready for a walk.

  1. Dear Muon,
No one could be bored walking with you! Remember, you are safe and will always be loved. From now on, your humans will always come home.
