Doggie at work

Hi Everybody,

I'm not sure if you knew this, but some days I go to work with my human. I am very useful.

I help her at her desk to work on the computer. I don't think work is very interesting.

I also show her that she needs to clean up her desk. And feed me. Do you see the doggy treats for me? Also there is peanut butter.

I have my own chair to sleep in, since the work is So boring and does not involve going outside.

Oh, look, I'm having my picture taken again. Well I'd rather be bored here at work than be alone at home. At least here I can show my human that it's time to go outside for reals. If she leaves my at home alone I can't tell her anything. Also sometimes people visit. Overall work is not too bad.

Do you go to work?

Rainy day

We had some rain around here. I'm not a big fan of rain, especially when there's a lot of it. It's like taking a shower. I don't like getting wet.

My human took me out in the morning, but it was raining a lot and I got wet, so I went back inside.
I got toweled off. I like that part. But I still had some water in my ears so I had to rub it off on the carpet.

Later in the day it stopped raining. There were still lots of puddles. I don't mind puddles, I can drink from them, but I don't like showers or big huge lakes of water.

Hope everyone stayed dry!

Tomato

Hello,

Can you tell me what's weird about this picture?
Hint: that's a cereal bowl on the floor next to me.

Yes! That's a giant tomato! It's from the farm. The smaller one is a regular sized tomato like you find in the grocery store, although it is also from the farm, just regular sized. So beware, there are giant tomatoes. They might attack.

We got this one before it attacked though. It is now salsa.

BBQ and Playdate!

I got to go to a BBQ and playdate today! Human #1 took me over to my friend Stan's house and his humans made some food on a hot thing that smelled really good.

This is Stan. He's a Labradoodle. He's pretty big, but really quiet and likes to stay near his humans.

This is me near the food table. MMMM that food smelled tasty and good.

Another friend of mine, Mila, came over with her humans. That was great! Her female human gave me food for doing tricks. Also Mila really likes to play. Here is a movie of us playing together.

She's younger than me, and lots of fun. She chases me when I run around and likes to wrestle. I'd mostly rather be running than wrestling, but we can do a little of both.

Also.. I know how to sit in a chair! I'm not showing the human's face because sometimes humans are shy.

I like to play with my friends!

Fetch!

First of all, thank you everybody for your concern. I'm feeling much better now and I'll try to avoid eating little packets of balls that make you sick and thirsty. Also all of you should too. Not eat them I mean.

I like to play fetch. It's one of my favorite games. My human will throw my toy, and I'll go get it. It's great fun.
I have a special power, actually, I can play fetch with myself! See, how it works is I run so fast, that I can run as fast as the toy. So I start one place and throw to the other but I run as fast as the toy so I can get it when it gets to the other place and then I bring it back and keep doing it!!! That's fun too. I like playing with my human though.

Here is me after playing fetch, with my squeeky toy that I like.

I don't really have green eyes. That's just because of the flash. I really have brown eyes with black in the middle. I tried to have my human fix it, but this is what she did:

I think that makes me look like a cartoon.
Anyway, what's your favorite game?

Too clever

Hi everybody,

I had a bad day or so. No pictures, too embarrassing.

I thought I was so clever. Human #1 left a bag of treats inside another bag on the couch. I found them while she was gone. She probably thought I couldn't get to them because the bag was closed. Well, I showed her! I opened the bottom of the bag.

And ate all the treats. Yum yum yum. I like treats.

There were also little packets of stuff in with the treats. They smelled like treats, I tried a couple of the little balls inside the packets. Not such a good idea. I was really really really really thirsty after that.

I drank all my water. Hours before human # 1 came home. I was so thirsty. Then she came home and I drank two more bowls of water. Don't eat the little balls in those packets!

I didn't feel very good. But I'm better now! My human says she's not going to leave things where I can get to them anymore. But I'm smart enough to figure out not to do that again...... I think.

Hope everyone else is having a better weekend.

Yummy Treat

Remember how I told you that we went to the doggy stuff store? Well, one thing we got was yummy treats! I like treats, they're the best, except for when I steal Human #1s food, that's even better. (Shhhh, don't tell. I don't think she knows. I only do it when she's *not in the room*)

This is me being extremely good and patient and almost aloof, so Human #1 doesn't think I want the treat TOO much. Well... at least it's my best impression of aloof.

Mmmm. Yummy treat. It's really cold though. It's like frozen apples and bananas and peanut butter. I don't really like banana, but I LOVE peanut butter. Lots and lots and lots. Yummy treat.

I told you the yummy treat was cold, right? Well, I thought it would do better on the carpet to warm up a bit.

Human #1 did not agree with me. She put the treat back in the bowl. Well, I guess I'm not going to win at that. She's a fair bit more persistent than I am.

So I ate the treat. Yummy yummy yummy. I do like treats.

Friend!

Well, I had lots of nice pictures to show you. But Human # 1 is not very good with cameras and accidentally deleted them all.
So here's me being sad that I don't have nice pictures for you.
Also, Human #1 left me all alone today. I was so scared! I thought she would never ever ever come back. And then I don't know what I would do. I held on to myself though. I had water. I got to eat in the morning. I had at least 6 hours before I had to break out and go back to running on the streets. There was a chance, and I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. Just this once.
So, after reassuring myself that my new toy was available in case I needed it, I proceeded to take a nap.
Then a new friend came to the door! It was so exciting! He petted me and made sure I had water and told my that my human would be back later and took me for a walk! I love walks! He took me for a really long walk. I told him he was very nice and that he should go on more walks with me. He didn't get bored or anything. Well, eventually. But not for a very long time. What a great new friend. I love meeting friends.
Of course, then I got left alone again. This time, I was sure that my human must have gotten shipwrecked. Or struck by lightning.
And then, Human # 1 came home!!!! I was so excited that I jumped a meter into the air, I just couldn't help myself. I wasn't sure what my human wanted to do. So I jumped between the couch and the floor and ran around her, to make sure I was ready for whatever her plans were. She promised to always come back to me. So I let her rub my belly as assurance that I believed her. And then I had her rub my belly some more. And some more.
I don't know if the best part of the day was the new friend or my human coming home. They're both pretty great. I think I should meet more new friends and go on more walks.

P.S. Here's an Extra Bonus Picture of me getting ready for a walk.

New toy!

Hi.
No pictures today. Human #1 had to take an online ethics course. She passed! But now she's too tired to load pictures.

But I did want to tell you what I did today. We went to the doggy stuff store. I love how it smells in there. I got a new toy. It's green and squeaky. Much easier to squeak than my other toys. Also the shopkeeper gave me treats. Healthy & Tasty too!

Also I got to say hi to 2 dogs today. One was in the doggy stuff store. She was littler than me! Its hard to know what to do with little dogs but we figured it out. She was quite the little ruffian. Not mean though, we just played. But we had to go from the store because it was closed.
A little while later I met another dog. He was a border collie mix. He looked kinda like me, but bigger, and grayish, rather than brownish black. He was fun to play with. I wanted him to play chase with me but his humans were slow and held him back.
I saw a big dog on a bench too. But I didn't get to go meet him, I needed to get back home to play with my new toy and eat my new treats.

'Til the next time! -Muon.
